The National Road Fund

This fund constitutes support for the government Programme of Road and Motorway Building in Poland by amassing financial means for preparing, building, rebuilding, renovating, maintenance and protection of motorways, express roads, as well as other state roads.

The NRF, apart from budget means, as well as the European Union means, constitutes a source of road financing in Poland.

The fund uses the means according to the yearly plan directives prepared on the basis of the Government Road and Motorway Construction Programme in Poland. Equally investment expenses, as well as expenses relating to investment preparation are financed from the Funds means.

The fund means can also be designed for payments in favour of partnerships with regard to their fulfillment of obligations resulting from the agreement about construction/or exploitation of motorways.
